There’s a lot of video producers out there
There’s a lot of video producers out there (like, at least seven that we know about).
But you don’t want just any producer. You want a go-to video partner who captures the essence of your identity, elevates your brand image, and creates measurable results with every video they produce.
we’re Mindful of People, Planet, Culture, and Community
Our production processes are mindful of people, local cultures and communities, and the planet. You can feel confident that your videos will have great campaign results, a longer lifespan, higher ROI, and will leave your community better than when you started!
who we’re here for…and who we’re not
If making a quick buck is your #1 motivator, we get it. We like finding a $20 on the sidewalk too. That said, we don’t think we’d serve you well.
But if you see your organization as a force for creating positive impact and you want your production house to match, let’s connect! We’d love to help you do more good and create lasting growth at your organization through your next video, testimonial, or film.
“I’ve worked with many filmmakers in my career and many video professionals, and I can say without any hesitancy, he is the most brilliant, the most talented, and the one I’ve enjoyed working with the most. He has been critical in the presence of the brand and the life of the brand in our media.“
Their ability to catch distinctions, the brand essence, and match visual story telling with content is truly brilliant!
262 Creative took a thoughtful, strategic and creative approach to our sizzle reel, ensuring the message was on-brand and impactful and the imagery spoke to our target audience.
They took this project to another level and the finished product is really compelling. It’s something we’re really proud of and that we think will have longevity. We’ve already found so many ways to leverage it!
I am at a loss for words, and I literally had to wipe tears from my eyes. I so appreciate your thoughtfulness, attention, and care for how you shared my story. What a beautiful gift you have!
262 Creative is incredibly dependable, communicative and responsive. They were highly flexible with our tight deadlines and yet again blew our minds and exceeded our expectations with the final products. They worked well with my project management deadlines.
Look no further if you are looking for someone who genuinely cares about the quality of the working relationship as well as the final product. You are in GREAT hands!
262 Creative was able to turn the videos around very quickly and with very high quality consistently over our 14 week course! We look forward to working with Will again in the future and highly recommend his video and editing services.
The films 262 Creative produced will increase my outreach and boost my impact and income as I share them with the world.
I love their proactivity and tenaciousness. It’s like nothing i’ve ever experienced. In a world of snowflakes, it’s refreshing to see that some young creatives still have the heart to dig in, pull up their sleeves, and put in the hard work that is going to get real results for their clients!
Sustainability Initiatives
Let’s strive toward sustainability, hand in hand!
Or maybe just in close proximity…
You’re a purpose-driven business and your production house should be too. At 262 Creative, we’re young, idealistic, maybe a little bit naive, and we’re starting the journey of hard-wiring our small business with sustainable practices.
The Path To Benefit Corporation
Keep a eye on our progress
The B-Corporation certification is the standard proving a company puts it’s money where it’s mouth is regarding commitment to sustainability. And total transparency, we’re not there yet. As of November 2023, we’re still beginning our B-Corp journey. We have a long way to go and grow before we join the honored ranks.
That said, we’re a small team with big goals and B-Corporation is the direction we’re growing towards. When you work with us, you can be confident that you’re working with a video producer who is making the B-Corporation certification their standard of excellence.
We’ll keep you up to date about our progress!

One foot in Oregon, the other (running) somewhere in a different state
We love the beautiful landscapes of Central and Eastern Oregon where our team lives.
If you’re a purpose-driven business or nonprofit headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, we just might be a match made in this heavenly geographic location! We’d love to help you grow your organization using video.
Not located in the good ol’ PNW? Not a problem, we have clients from Santa Cruz, CA to St. Louis, MO. We’re suckers for new coffee blends and single track trails wherever we can find them.
Plus, we’re not afraid of heights. We’ll fly (or better yet, take a train!) anywhere in the USA and then plant trees to ensure we’re cooling the planet with our trip. We can also work entirely online if needed, you’ll just miss out on enjoying our sparkling personalities in person.
F.A.Q.s
What does your name 262 Creative mean?
At 262 Creative, we believe video production should be like running a marathon. And no, we don’t mean excruciating and fraught with regret- we like running.
Marathon training demands thoughtful preparation and long term thinking to cross the finish line, sans injury. That’s why we take time on the front-end to understand your organization, goals, and audience thoroughly. By cultivating a relationship first, we can make sure your message resonates with the people you want to serve for the long-haul.
Pacing is what sustainability is all about. The definition of the word “sustain” is to be able to do something without loss of effort. As a society, we don’t need to wonder, “Can we do this?” With enough time, technology, and creativity, we can do pretty much anything!
Instead, we need to ask, “Can we keep doing this?” To think about sustainability (or to pace yourself for a marathon) is to think about the long game, not just the mile that’s in front of you.
That’s how we think about our production services. Our goal is to create videos that deliver immediate impact while also staying effective and relevant over time. We’re not interested in sprinting to the finish of a project. We’re here to support you for the marathon of your business, one video at a time.
What does video production have to do with sustainability?
One of the big issues we’re seeing in the modern world is that film and video have unintended consequences in a lot of different areas of our life. And while I’m talking about the planet, it’s not just about that.
Environmental Health
According to Ad Net Zero, the estimated carbon emissions for:
- A single digital ad agency = 84,000 metric tons per year
- The entire industry = 1,000,000 metric tons per year (in the UK alone)
Wen you zero in on videos and film specifically:
- 1 day of film shooting = 33 metric tons
- 1 digital campaign for a single brand = 100 metric tons
- An entire film production = 3,370 metric tons
Mental Health
Social media is a powerful tool in the world of video production and marketing, but it might also be negatively affecting our mental health. Even though 72% of Americans use at least one social media platform, 83% of American adults believe that social media use can have negative consequences. Researchers have found connections between social media use and:
- Poor sleep
- Online harassment
- Poor body image
- Low self-esteem
- Decreased life satisfaction
- Higher levels of depression and anxiety
Creative Job Satisfaction
Creative workers are satisfied with their jobs when they have the freedom for self-expression and the ability to impact other people emotionally. But the explosion of digital media and the constant need for new content can make it challenging to create pieces with quality, intentionality, and creativity.
The Future of Creative Work, a global study released by TBWA worldwide, found that creative professionals are less likely to be satisfied with their work life balance and more likely to feel burnt out or discouraged. In May 2023, the Writers Guild of America went on strike, closely followed by the Screen Actors Guild of America in July. With the rise of streaming platforms, writers and actors are trying to fill increasing demands for new content with lower pay, less support, and shorter timelines.
Because digital media and marketing go hand in hand, the ever-increasing demand for content effects marketers too. Social media is a valuable tool for brands and organizations to get exposure, but the advent of short-form video means more work and more content production to stay relevant.
According to Forbes.com, marketers are trying to generate greater levels of leads with less budget, resources, and manpower, which is why 83.3% of marketing and communication professionals report feeling burnt out.
We’ve designed our business model to (start to) address many of these issues through the way that we create and distribute our videos.
